Phillip and I met on a blind date July 26, 2007. We hit it off immediately and knew that we were meant to be. A little over a year later, Phillip proposed to me on October 10, 2008... It was just the two of us, alone in our apartment and that is just how I would want it. He was so nervous (did he really think I would say no?!) I of course said yes. Phillip then told me he hadn't gotten my parents blessing yet, which he was supposed to do. So the next day he went over there and talked with them. They cried and gave their blessing immediately. Phillip then came home and re-proposed to me... I cried far more the second time and said yes again.
We were married December 21, 2008 in Rio Rancho, NM.
A small, intimate wedding with family, in short it was perfect.
There wasn't a DJ, there wasn't any dancing, there wasn't a boquet toss and that was alright with us. Here are a few pictures taken on our wedding day.
